the brief
The client came to Portland with a request for a modern and uncluttered white kitchen. Portland put forward the Tomba white gloss handleless range which couples white slab doors with sleek brushed aluminium finger pulls recessed behind the door. With capabilities to make custom units it was no problem for Portland to supply units pre-machined to receive the recessed finger pull profiles.

Designers tips
Additional shallow storage units were incorporated under this island breakfast to make use the most of the space available. Positioning your sink and/or cooking facilities on a central island makes a focal point of the island and allows the cook to socialise with guests whilst cooking.
